There were rumblings about it for the past week or so, but the local papers have recently reported that the 14 year old popular restaurant at Ross' Corner, The Chatterbox Drive-In, is in the process of being sold to Wawa, pending approval. This is without a doubt shocking news to find as the Sussex County 1950s styled theme drive-in has become quite a popular destination for both locals and visitors alike. You don't find too many of these types of places anymore and if this were to go, it would be a sad day for those who enjoyed the comforts of freshly made burgers, hot dogs, fries and more, as well as the themed nights featuring bikes, Corvettes and the many friends that were made at The Chatterbox over the past 14 years.
