A 38 year old youth church pastor living in Franklin has been charged with possessing child pornography, and using social media to have sexually explicit conversations with minor girls and meet them! These stories make me sick to my stomach. He used social media apps to lure these underage girls that I haven't even heard of. Darryl Farrier is alleged to have used social media apps Whisper, Kik, and Meet Me, while apparently communicating with these minors and lining up meetings with them. In situations like this, the public can absolutely help and possibly prevent this from happening to others. Authorities are asking anyone who may have information regarding this or other situations involving the pastor to contact the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office at 973-383-1570.
