A 4th attempted child abduction has been reported in Sussex County since early November, this latest incident happening in Lafayette. High Point, Andover, Hardyston, Byram, and Pope John Middle School have all been impacted by this. New Jersey State Police are now investigating the situation. Unfortunately these attempts have happened including several different car makes and models, so there isn't a consistent vehicle we can be watching out for on a regular basis. Looks like we unfortunately have to keep reminding kids of stranger danger, and to not accept car rides from people they don't know. Hopefully the police can track down the suspect or suspects very soon. If you see something, say something!
