A second WaWa in Sussex County has been approved

Wawa must see some good potential in Sussex County. As we await construction to begin on a planned WaWa convenience store at Ross' Corner in Frankford. A second WaWa has been approved on Route 206 in Hampton. The Hampton Wawa will only be about 4 miles from the Frankford Wawa. Which is where the closed Chatterbox Restaurant now stands. The only approval holding up the start of construction at the Ross' Corner site is for a driveway permit from the New Jersey Department of Transportation. The Wawa in Hampton will be built on an empty stretch of land between Dairy Queen and Lowe's on Route 206. Opening dates for both locations have not been announced. Wawa operates more than 800 convenience stores. Mostly in the South Jersey and Philadelphia areas. The company has expanded into a total of 6 states. Like many people I'm going to miss The Chatterbox. Trying to look at the bright side. I've heard Wawa's fresh steak sandwiches are really good.
