Be careful where you tan. Make sure you trust the owner before you do anything else. Martino Poli who lives in Stanhope has been accused of secretly filming unsuspecting customers at his tanning salon in Nutley. The Essex County Prosecutor's Office says the investigation began when a customer saw what she believed was a camera lens while she was inside a tanning bed at Sun of a Beach Tanning Salon. When the salon was searched by law enforcement evidence of the hidden recording device was discovered. Police also found cocaine and marijuana. Poli has a prior drug conviction in Sussex County in 2014. In 2011 he served 15 days in the Sussex County jail for identity theft. He is being held in the Essex County Jail on child endangerment and drug charges.
