More of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area will be open this weekend on both sides of the river. Park Superintendent Sula Jacobs says the National Park will reopen in phases. This weekend on the New Jersey side Mountain Road will be opened to provide access to Buttermilk Falls. Blue Mountain Lakes Road from the parking area to Skyline Drive, and Skyline Drive will also reopen to provide access to scenic overlooks and The Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Some other areas that will reopen include: access to the Namanock Recreation Site, the dirt section of Old Mine Road and all trails on The Pocono Environmental Education Center Campus.
