My "Little Flower Girl" Weekend in Pictures

Over the past several months any time I've spent with members of my family (that don't live with me) has been very limited. This weekend we started getting back to normal. We had a nice family dinner at my son Matt's home. Matt and his fiance' Jess have been waiting for the right time to ask Miss Gracie to be the flower girl at their wedding next year. They finally had a chance this weekend. It was all so sweet. Matt and Jess showed her the head piece she would be wearing and gave her a children's book that explains why flower girls are so important. Over the weekend I also spoke with my cousins via Zoom and Facebook to plan some summer barbecues. One of my cousins sent me an old picture of all of us taken at my uncle's house on Long Island. It was before one of our touch football games. I'm the kid wearing the Rangers hat. Yes, before we had the New Jersey Devils to root for, I was a Rangers fan. Watching the SpaceX NASA launch on Saturday brought tears to my eyes. The rest of my weekend gave me a chance to expand the number of baby cucumber plants in my garden. I also went swimming with Miss Gracie, cleaned my grill and made some awesome cheeseburgers.
