One Jersey Shore town just decided to allow indoor dining

Last night the Asbury Park City Council voted to allow restaurants to open for indoor dining starting Monday June 15th. This is in direct defiance of Governor Phil Murphy's latest executive order which allows most non-essential businesses to reopen and allow customers inside, but not bars or restaurants. The resolution approved by the city council allows restaurants to open for inside dining at 25 percent capacity or 50 people. Whichever is lower. So far there has been no response from the governor's office. Stay tuned.
