My "Baby on the Move" weekend in pictures

Usually, it gets too hot to enjoy being outside in August. This year the August weather started in July. I did my yard work and pool cleaning in the early morning. Then relaxed inside until temperatures cooled down in the afternoon. The early heat seems to have taken a toll on my garden. I picked my first cucumber and tomatoes of the season. They were both smaller than usual. Being inside was actually pretty enjoyable. My grandson Christopher is now crawling. Watching him crawl around the living room these past 2 days was a lot of fun. He is also saying his first words. He says "mommy," "daddy" and "hey." I think I taught him to say "hey." Everyday when I come home he is in his walker. He smiles at me and I say "hey." Kids are hilarious. Once the temperature cooled down we did enjoy some great late afternoon pool time. Even my daughter Kim joined us. While Gracie had a great time with her mom and dad. I fed Christopher. Who just loves the water. In the kitchen I made Goya 16 bean soup with chicken and carrots. One bag of beans makes a big pot of soup. Then using my garden fresh tomatoes. We made grilled cheese, ham and tomato sandwiches.
