The Sussex County Prosecutor's Office announced the arrest of 33 year old Timothy Donahue of Lafayette on Tuesday. The investigation of Donahue has been going on for two years. He's been charged with knowingly possessing and receiving images and videos depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor. The prosecutor's office started to investigate Donahue after a tip from an individual not named in the release. Charges against Donahue are based on his receipt of the child porn via an e mail address authorities believe belongs to him. They allege Donahue was sent the explicit materials and then confirmed receiving them to the sender. He is currently lodged in the Morris County jail.
