Ralph Rocco just graduated as class valedictorian for Sussex Tech's Class of 2020. He's dreamed of being a commercial airline pilot since he was a little boy going on vacations with his family. This month he will start attending Emery Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona, Florida. In addition to class valedictorian, Ralph was also class president, president of the student council and vice president of Sussex Tech's Chapter of the National Honor Society. Last year Ralph helped build a submarine while in shop class. Then traveled to Maryland to help race the sub in a national competition. Ralph and a group of other Sussex Tech students recently enjoyed volunteering at area nursing homes. They visited and read to the residents. He was nominated by his mom Darlene. This morning Ralph was awarded a certificate of recognition. Along with 2 $50 gift cards from Transoptions and Visions Federal Credit Union.
