Sussex County just found 1,600 uncounted ballots

Sussex County Board of Elections Administrator Marge McCabe has announced 1,666 uncounted ballots from the July primary election were found last week and immediately counted. The ballots were in a mislabeled bin in the board of election office. The state Attorney General's Office was notified of the discovery. The ballots were in a secure area. The additional vote count did not change the results of any Sussex County Election. The Sussex County Board of Elections moved to a temporary location at Sussex County Community College to count votes for the July mail in primary. Which could have been the reason the ballots were misplaced.
