It's been almost a year since the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford opened the Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park and regulation sized NHL ice skating rink. Then in December the indoor ski and snow board park opened. There were even more big plans to celebrate more openings in March. Then Covid-19 happened and the entire place had to be temporarily shut down. Over 800,000 people had already visited. Yesterday, the mega mall and entertainment complex re-opened minus any celebration. This time 80 stores and the Dream Works Water Park were ready to go. Hand sanitizing stations are spread out all over the mall and theme parks. Social distancing, mask requirements and capacity limits are in place. Theme Park tickets for Saturday are almost sold out.
