My "With Family" Thanksgiving Weekend in pictures

I know for many people this Thanksgiving was different from any other year. This year's Thanksgiving for my family wasn't much different than previous years. I saw all 4 of my kids and cooked Thanksgiving Dinner. Thanksgiving Day my son Matt and his fiance' Jess hosted a very nice family breakfast in their new home. The main dish was a delicious egg, potato and bacon casserole. Then we took our traditional holiday photo on the steps leading upstairs. We call these photos "Brady Bunch" pictures. A tradition started a few years ago when I visit my cousin's house on Christmas Day. Then it was back home by noon to put in the turkey for our Thanksgiving Dinner. I used to go over board cooking too much for Thanksgiving. Over the years I've tried to simplify things. This year I made turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes. Denise made sweet potatoes with mash mallows and Kim's boyfriend made corn pudding. Everything came out great. We've been eating the left overs each day. I'm very proud of how the turkey came out. While the turkey was cooking and I was up my daughter took a nap. That's something that should happen after eating turkey not before. She has two little kids so she is always tired. I was just happy to see her resting while we kept an eye on the kids. On Friday after work I had some energy so I decided to get started on the inside Christmas decorations. I wasn't going to go crazy getting everything done. Miss Gracie was helping and before you know it everything was done! On Saturday I did a Facebook live video and got the oil changed on my son's Subaru Legacy at Subaru World of Newton. It was great to see all my friends there.
