Oroho wants to know how Murphy will spend remaining CARES Act money

New Jersey still has not spent nearly $200 Million in CARES Act funds from the federal government. If the money is not used by December 31st of this year it has to be returned to Washington D.C. In an open letter to Governor Murphy released yesterday State Senator Steve Oroho is urging the unallocated funds be used to help small businesses and non profit organizations impacted by Covid-19. Oroho says there is bi-partisan support for a substantial aid package using the remaining funds. In the letter Oroho says: "With all the significant burdens our residents have endured it would be unconscionable if New Jersey failed to use all of the federal funds made available to our state."
