Oroho, Space and Wirths want stimulus money used to stop school aid cuts

Once again this year almost every Sussex County school district had it's state aid reduced. Just Franklin Borough and Newton saw a funding increase. In every other district property taxes will go up or school programs will be cut. Last week State Senator Steve Oroho and Assemblyman Parker Space and Hal Wirths introduced identical bills that would replace state aid cuts to Sussex County Schools with a small amount of the 6 Billion dollars in Federal Stimulus money. In a press release Assemblyman Wirths said "With the amount of federal aid New Jersey has received, no school should be punished because they have the wrong zip codes in the wrong counties.
