My "Out of the Man Cave" Weekend in Pictures

Who knows how we all got it, but we got it. After my daughter's boyfriend tested positive over two weeks ago. It was a pretty good bet that the rest of our family would have it too. Being in quarantine is very inconvenient but I'm happy to report no one in my family had serious symptoms. One of my sons had a painful sore throat and body aches for a couple of days. That was it. I was symptom free. Which is why I was able to do the WSUS Morning Show remotely from my basement for the past to weeks. An area we lovingly call our man cave. Doing a full morning radio show on equipment designed for short remote broadcasts was challenging but I feel like I learned quite a bit in the process. Relying on the not always reliable internet in my house to get a radio show on the air was nerve racking. Hoping listeners didn't hear my dog barking or my grand kids being noisy. I'm glad it's over. There were some things I found very enjoyable. Like burning a scented candle while I was on the air. Fresh coffee upstairs whenever I wanted it. Thanks to my daughter Kim. Being at home already when work was over. I did a lot of cleaning projects I have not had a chance to do. My doctor cleared me to return to normal life on Friday. I was eager to get to stores and get to work on the landscaping outside of my house. The three feet of snow in February took it's toll on some of my shrubs. One of these days I'm going to have a professional redo everything. In the meantime, I'll just keep after the shrubs and mulch. Everything looked pretty good when I finished. Sunday started out sunny so after church Kim and I took Christopher and Gracie to the playground at Airport Park in Matamoras. Which is really awesome and well cared for. Then I was craving grilled hot dogs. So I took out my small cast iron frying pan and grilled some. Then I went to bed happy.
