Deena Janos grew up in Wantage and Graduated from Sussex Tech. Since her freshman year at William Paterson University she has been a student assistant in the university's office of annual giving. Two of the women she has worked with over the past four years nominated Deena for our Student of the Month Award. Ann Appleby and Beth Ann Bates describe Deena as:" a confident and accomplished young woman. Whose leadership skills amaze us. She demonstrates dedication and creativity in her work in the office, in her scholarship and in her extracurricular roles. She cares deeply about being of service to her colleagues, her fellow students and the university community." Deena is a member of six university level honor societies and has served as President of the Student Government Association. In the future she plans to internationally in the field of disaster relief. Specifically, with displaced persons and refugees. Deena was awarded a $50 gift card from Transoptions and another $50 gift card from Visions Federal Credit Union.
