Minivans are making a comeback

I've owned two minivans. When you have kids they're the most practical way to go. Even when I bought my minivans in 1997 and 2005. They offered comfortable seating and room for storage. More recently, minivans have become not so cool. That seems to be changing. Minivans are cool again. According to the Cox Automotive Report, car makers who still produce minivans are reporting a surge in demand. Consumers on average have been willing to pay 8 percent over sticker price in 2021. Only 4 auto makers still sell minivans. Chrysler, Toyota, Kia and Honda have all recently redesigned their minivans. Chrysler and Toyota minivans are even available with all wheel drive.
