Delaware Valley kids can now be in school mask-less with a parent's note

My 5 year old grand daughter plays with her friends every weekend and after school without mask. That is her mom and dad's choice. Last April she was exposed to Covid-19 when our whole family tested positive. She was symptom free. Her doctor said there was no need to test her. However, when she boards the school bus and all day in school the Pennsylvania Health Department says she must wear a mask. Last night the Delaware Valley School Board pushed back on that statewide mandate. By a vote of 5 to 1 the board approved a motion that will allow kids to attend school and not wear a mask. As long as parents sign a district provided note. A doctor's note will not be required. Rosemary Walsh was the only board member to vote against the motion. How will the state health department react? Time will tell.
