Here are the 10 most stolen vehicles in New Jersey last year

The National Insurance Crime Bureau says vehicle thefts rose by 11 percent last year. This is so surprising to me. I would think with all the G.P.S. technology we have these days thefts would actually be going down. The insurance industry blames owner complacency, Covid-19 and changes in law enforcement for the increase. Here in New Jersey three different Honda vehicles made the top 10. Across the U.S. full size Ford pick ups were the most stolen vehicles. Here are the New Jersey stats. 1) Honda Accord (541 stolen) 2) Honda Civic (457 stolen) 3) Ford Pick Up (425 stolen) 4) Jeep Cherokees (336 stolen) 5) Nissan Altima (277 stolen) 6) Toyota Camry (274 stolen) 7) Honda CRV (239 stolen) 8) Ford Econoline E350 (199 stolen) 9) Toyota Corolla (184 stolen) 10) Ford Econoline E250 (158). Lock up your vehicle. There are still some very bad people out there!
