Weekends that aren't that busy or exciting help us feel rested for the week ahead. To be perfectly honest I feel pretty rested today. That doesn't mean the weekend was absent of some wonderful moments. We visited Matt and Jess and got to see Christopher playing with Nala. My daughter Kim cooked breaded pork chops on her own for the first time. I helped at a very successful yard sale at The United Methodist Church of Matamoras. While there I picked up a few treasures myself. My grand daughter Gracie was in her very first play with her Sunday School at church on Sunday. We saw a cool insect. Gracie also became a back seat driver: "Grandpa that was a yellow light. Why didn't you stop." See what happens when you're not making any special plans.
