My "Pumpkins and Donuts" Weekend in Pictures

There are so many wonderful places to visit every fall in Sussex County. I like going to Ideal Farm and Garden in Augusta because there's a lot to do for my grand children. They always have a great time but it's not overwhelming. My daughter invited her friend Courtney to join us with her family. We took a hayride to the pumpkin patch, fed the goats and chickens, watched the power racing, sampled some wine and went home with a bag of cider donuts. On the way home we took a small detour to drive through Branchville and see all the scarecrows in the park. It was one of the nicest days I had this year. Watching Christopher pick is first pumpkin made my day. When we got home everyone was craving pancakes for dinner. I haven't made them in a while. Luckily, I haven't forgotten how. My son Matt and his wife Jess finally got all their wedding pictures back from the photographer this weekend too. They were married in July. Which was another wonderful day for our family. I'm including a couple of our family pictures in this post too.
