New Jersey is reaching a tentative agreement with a union that represents tens-of-thousands of the state's public servants. Governor Murphy says the four year contract with Communications Workers of America impacts nearly 32-thousand state workers. The deal would include three-and-a-half percent raises every year for workers across the board. It will also include reimbursement for eye care and the addition of one bereavement day. The contract is retroactive to this past July and expires June of 2027.
