New Jersey is preparing for another wet weekend with showers expected to move into the area beginning midday on Saturday.

In North Jersey, precipitation between a quarter and a half inch of rain is expected during the day on Saturday, with another quarter to half inch possible overnight. Central Jersey is expected to the the bulk of the rain Saturday night, with between three quarters to an inch of rain expected. In South Jersey, rainfall is expected to be the heaviest, with 1 to 2 inches falling Saturday evening.

The wet weather is expected to clear out on Sunday after some lingering showers in the morning giving way to a mostly cloudy afternoon with seasonal temperatures.

This marks the 6th rainy weekend in a row for New Jersey - but as a silver lining, the state is currently drought-free, according to the most recent report from the U.S. Drought Monitor.
