Reader's Digest has named Cliff's Homemade Ice Cream in Ledgewood as New Jersey's most indulgent ice cream parlor. Operating since 1975, Cliff's offers over 60 unique regular and seasonal flavors of hard hand-dipped ice cream and 11 flavors of soft ice cream, including their signature 'Skyscraper' cone.

"Located in Ledgewood, Cliff’s has been cranking out delicious ice cream year-round since 1975. It’s the home of the Skyscraper (don’t ask) and offers more than 60 ice cream flavors (as well as 11 soft-serves). If you’re coming from New York, try the Graham Central Station, while visitors from elsewhere in New Jersey might prefer the Holy Cannoli. Take a seat at one of the picnic tables scattered outside and enjoy," Reader's Digest stated in their review.

Beyond hard and soft ice cream, the vintage-styled ice cream parlor also offers ice cream cakes and is open year-round.

Elsewhere in the Tri-State area (though admittedly a bit further of a drive), in New York, Morgenstern's Finest Ice Cream in Manhattan took the top spot, while in Pennsylvania, Klavon's Ice Cream Parlor in Pittsburgh was named the best.
