Swimmer's Body Recovered at Milford Beach

The body of a 24-year-old swimmer, identified as Jeysson Osorio-Reyes, was recovered from Milford Beach, Pennsylvania on Saturday (June 29). Witnesses reported that Osorio-Reyes went underwater in the afternoon and did not resurface.

The National Park Service, local EMS, and rescue crews responded to the scene around 3:15 p.m. after receiving reports of a missing swimmer. Osorio-Reyes, a resident of Jackson Township, New Jersey, was reportedly seen swimming about 75 yards from the shoreline before he disappeared underwater.

The recovery operation involved five boats and eight divers, who searched the water for several hours before finding Osorio-Reyes' body around 7 p.m. The circumstances leading to the drowning remain unclear.
