This was definitely a fun, Epic Weekend. I definitely have so much fun during ski season here in Jersey, getting to watch skiers and snowboarders from my deck. The slopes were packed this weekend! I had so much fun seeing many people having fun on my mountain over at Mountain Creek. Granite Peak was definitely hopping. Friday night I was able to give my dear bestie Artie a shout out on my radio show for his birthday weekend. I was able to give a nice little shoutout to his granddaughter within my mention too. I was able to share the MP3 with Artie, who was then able to share it with his daughters. I'm happy we got their weekend off to a great start!
I then ventured over to see besties Jasen and Brendan, where they were hosting our besties Christine, Chris and Carrie. Christine made a killer charcuterie board per usual. It ended up turning into a glorified karaoke party, which was perfect for a Friday night after a long week at work for all of us. As amazing as the holidays can be, I'm so happy it's easier to see friends now that those holidays are over and behind us.
Saturday morning I was able to venture down 23 to Target in Riverdale doing some minor errands. I then treated myself to Jimmy Geez and wolfed down some delicious buffalo wings that were spicy garlic. I cried happy tears, those spicy wings had me all flushed. Love it!
I was then able to meet up with a friend and enjoy a fun snack at Industry Kitchen & Bar in Sparta. We shared delicious crispy brussels sprouts! You can see the menu here. I enjoyed a delicious Smoke & Embers drink to go along with it. Whiskey drinks that get set on fire can be fun! We then went for a chill afternoon at Crystal Springs Crystal Tavern. I was able to get us a cozy spot right by the fireplace.
Saturday night we were able to have a fun night at Crystal Springs Kite's with besties Jasen and Brendan. Lots of fun laughs with friends, success!

Sunday afternoon was a perfect time to watch playoff football games with friends at The Irish Cottage Inn in Franklin. It was Artie's birthday, and our friends at The Cottage surprised him with a Happy Birthday singalong with a delicious desert! It was basically like a large doughnut with cinnamon, ice cream and whipped cream. Even I had a few bites from that delicious birthday surprise desert.
I had a blast with besties Artie, George, Paul M, Buckeye Paul, Roy, and others. Our friends John and Dale were having fun hanging out too. John mentioned how nice it is to have the friendships we do. It seemed like all afternoon we were busting on each other and cracking each other up, all while watching playoff football in the background.
Overall it was a fun winter weekend in Jersey, or as I call my place "Ski Country!" Time to start planning next weekend ahead of Martin Luther King Day. That reminds me, we'll post my Epic Weekend In Pictures on Tuesday after the holiday weekend. Thank you!
