Olivia Munn Gives New Health Update Amid Ongoing Cancer Battle

Olivia Munn has "hit a good stride" in her cancer journey.

The Newsroom actress told People she was still in search of the best medication during the 2025 TIME Women of the Year Gala on Tuesday (February 25). Munn, who attended the event as an honoree, was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer in April 2023. She unveiled that, while there have been a few bad days, she was doing "really good" on the day of the annual gala.

"I'm doing really good today. I am working through different medications, and I think anyone who's gone through any kind of cancer, but specifically breast cancer, understands there's a real science to figuring out the best kind of medication for you."

The star has been very open about her cancer journey, revealing in May 2024 that she chose to document her progress for her son Malcolm, 2, should cancer take her life.

"Honestly, I just thought of my baby. If I didn't make it, I wanted my son, when he got older, to know that I fought to be here. That I tried my best," she remarked during the May 16 episode of Good Morning America. Munn and her husband, John Mulaney, welcomed their second child, Méi, in September via surrogate.
