WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR NATIONAL MONTH OF HOPE

posted by George Fuller -

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago on my page that April is National Month of Hope with emphasis on doing acts of kindness and giving people hope.  I suggested some possibilities of humanitarian deeds; I have a couple more to add.  Two social service organizations in the north New Jersey area that always welcome volunteers are Pass It Along and Project Self-Sufficiency.  While attending the Sussex County Retired Educators meeting and luncheon this week, I learned a lot about these organizations as both Pass It Along and Project Self-Sufficiency each had a representative there discussing the mission and endeavor of their respective organization.   You might want to be part of their missions as part of National Month of Hope this April and beyond as a regular volunteer. Find out how at passitalong.com or projectselfsufficiency.org
