I read in the New Jersey Herald yesterday that today is "A Day of Hope" in Newton.  It fits right in with this month of April being National Month of Hope which I mentioned on a couple of my previous pages.  According to the newspaper article, a group pf Christian pastors and churches are spearheading the day which has various activities for all members of the family including inspirational music and plays.  Throughout the event the drama group 4Real  is presenting five-minute plays that bring a message of hope.  Also there are individuals talking about their life's struggles and how they got through them.  This "A Day of Hope" runs all afternoon at the Newton Green which is located at the intersection of Main Street, Spring Street, and High Street.   The afternoon's events seem like an uplifting and positive experience which we all need from time to time so go to the Newton Green.
