This year's Rockefeller Center Christmas tree will come from the tri state area, Florida N.Y. Earlier this week Rockefeller Center on its website released the news and stated the tree, which will be cut down November 7, will arrive November 9 at New York City's Rockefeller Plaza located between 48th and 51st Streets at 5th and 6th Avenues. It will be lighted during NBC's annual live broadcast "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" on Wednesday, December 4. The tree will be on display until Friday, January 17. According to the Rockefeller Center website, this is the 13th consecutive year the Christmas tree after it's taken down will be donated to Habitat for Humanity which will use the tree's lumber for building. For more than eight decades the Christmas tree has been a staple at Rockefeller Center. During the Christmas season make plans to see this extravagant tree.
