With the unemployment rate dropping, NJ Advance Media took a look at the fastest-growing jobs in the state and their salaries. Some of the jobs on the list might surprise you.
With all the roadwork being done lately the fastest-growing job is to be expected. Highway maintenance workers had a 100% increase in employment from 2016 to 2017 and a salary of about $52,000.
The highest paying job on the list is Securities, Commodities, and Financial Services Sales Agents with a salary of about $200,000. So what's the lowest paying job on the list? Fast food cooks with a salary of $22,000.
