What the California Wildfire Would Look Like In Your Town

The wildfire in California has become the biggest recorded in the state and firefighters are still battling to get it contained. Though wildfires are common in California, this one may have been set intentionally.

It might be difficult for New Jersey residents to picture just how encompassing and destructive the west coast wildfires are since most of the ones that occur here are minor in comparison. NBC in Los Angeles created an interactive map to show exactly how large the fire would be in whatever area you search.

I entered our radio station's address and the results are insane. Not only would it destroy the station but it would cover Wantage, Vernon and West Milford.

You can check out the interactive map and do your own search here.
