Windy Brow Farms, the same Fredon establishment that introduced the world to Taylor Ham ice cream, has released another strange flavor: Tomato Pie. According to the their Instagram page, the unusual ice cream contains sungold tomato jam, ricotta cream, sweet basil swirl and a base of oregano, red pepper flake, cumin, and black pepper.
The farm founded their creamery in 2013 and offers traditional ice cream along with dairy-free and vegan frozen dessert options. I'm willing to try new foods but when it comes to ice cream I'll stick to the classic combination of chocolate and peanut butter.
