One McDonald's customer got more than he bargained for when he purchased food from the popular fast food chain. On Aug. 6, an employee at the McDonald's on Route 23, Keyana R. Drumheiser, allegedly stole a money clip from a customer who was paying for his food. The clip had $450 in it.
After the man told an employee that his money was stolen, the 19-year-old returned one-quarter of what was stolen, minus the money clip. Drumheiser, a Vernon resident, was arrested on Monday Aug. 20 and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 5.
