WHAT?! According to a new study from 24/7 Wall Street the average date in New Jersey costs a whopping $259.60. It's more than twice the national average of $102.32.
The results were calculated by looking at the cost of two dinners, a bottle of wine and two movie tickets while factoring in taxes, travel costs and overall costs of living.
I have a hard time believing that the average person in NJ spends that much money on one date. My boyfriend and I don't even spend HALF of that when we go out. We live more like the folks in South Dakota, where the average date costs $38.27.
