Vernon Township is giving families a chance to spend a couple more nights together before school starts back up. The town is hosting Movie Mondays, free screenings of family-friendly movies on the lawn between Cedar Mountain Primary School and Glen Meadow Middle School.

The featured films include Sing on August 27 and Moana on September 3. The movies start at dusk but you can get there as early at 7:00 p.m. to pick out your spot on the lawn.

Attendees should bring blankets or lawn chairs and leave pets and alcohol at home. Don't worry about bringing your own snacks either! Food and drinks will be available for purchase from The Tracks Deli, The Scoop, The Daily Bean, and Susie’s House of Fudge.
