NJ Ranks Third Fewest for Impaired Driving Fatalities

With the leading cause of death for people between the ages of 5 and 24 being car crashes, it's no surprise that impaired driving is a factor. SafeWise took a look at the number of impaired driving fatalities in each state and the results may surprise you.

To get their results, SafeWise analyzed the number of impaired driving deaths per capita. It turns out that Montana, South Carolina, North Dakota, New Mexico, and Alabama had the highest numbers of fatalities. 

On the other hand, New Jersey ranked 3rd fewest and New York had the fewest out of all 50 states.
