A Sussex County Judge suspended the sentence of a former school bus driver who admitted to viewing child pornography during his breaks. Eugene Triston of Stanhope previously drove elementary school children when he worked for Byram Bus Line and was facing a five year prison sentence.
Though he may not be behind bars, Triston has to adhere to several conditions, including parole for life, registering as a Megan's Law offender, and no interaction with anyone who's under 18. The judge said he considered other factors, like the results of a psychosexual evaluation, when deciding to suspend the 57-year-old's sentence.
