Sussex and Warren County organizations and businesses can attend a free active shooter training class on September 13 at the Tranquility United Methodist Church. Participants will learn things like how to assess the workplace for vulnerabilities and survive an active shooter situation.
The class is sponsored by the Sussex/Warren Community Organizations Active in Disaster and will be led by Ed Moore from the NJ Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness.
Active shootings are unpredictable and can happen anywhere at anytime. It doesn't hurt to be informed and prepared. Anyone interested in more information about the class can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
