Using DNA and dental records police have identified the skeletal remains that were found on an island in the Delaware River last week. They belong to Anthony Sisonick III, a fugitive who allegedly jumped into the Lehigh River in January. The 47-year-old was sought on charges of forgery and identity theft.
After the remains were initially found on August 27, it was speculated that they could be those of a man who went missing in early August while he was canoeing. The man disappeared after a canoe that also held his wife and son, overturned. While his wife and son were rescued, the 53-year-old has still not been found.
