A Stanhope man who was involved in yesterday's accident on Route 206 has died from injuries he sustained in the crash. According to the New Jersey Herald, Mark Kruckmeyer was driving on Route 206 when "his vehicle crossed over into the northbound side and struck an International chipper truck."
Both the car and the truck veered off the road and the accident caused the southbound lane of Route 206 to be closed for several hours.
The truck driver walked away with only minor injuries and unfortunately Kruckmeyer was pronounced dead at Newton Medical Center.
