Fredon Elementary School is the latest school to be affected by mold. The school is closed today after mold was apparently found in some of the classrooms. According to the New Jersey Herald, Fredon school officials reached out to nearby districts about the possibility of using extra rooms so that students don't miss too many days.

Along with Fredon's closure, Hopatcong schools have yet to start after mold was found in the two elementary schools. They were supposed to start over a week ago but now plan to open on Tuesday September 18 according to the district website.
