This is definitely not how a bride pictures her wedding day. A man staying at Grand Cascades Lodge for a work-related event attacked a bride with a sword after they got into an argument.

Carlos Mejia, of New York City, reportedly walked up to the bride and her bridal party in the hallway of the hotel and asked for a cigarette. They all started arguing and after Mejia went into his room the bride and bridal party knocked on the door and yelled at him.

That's when Mejia allegedly walked out of the room, started swinging the sword at the women, and threatened to kill the bride. He then cut her arm with the sword and attempted to leave but guests were able to disarm him.

The bride was taken to Newton Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries and Mejia is facing several charges, including aggravated assault and terroristic threats.
