A new study from Esurance ranks New Jersey as the second-worst state for commuting, ahead of only Delaware. This isn't much of a surprise given the fact that we're the most densely populated state in the country.
While the commute may suck New Jersey ranked 9th for safety and 26th for workplace happiness. The study was created by using several sources to develop 6 indexes, which was then aggregated to create an overall index.
So which state has the best commute? Alaska. They may have ranked first but there's no way I'd live somewhere with winters that brutal.
Luckily for me, the commute to the radio station is only 20 minutes.
