Sparta Man Charged for Riding Dirt Bike on Public Road

A Sparta man was arrested on October 5 after a police officer stopped him for driving a dirt bike on a public road. He's facing several charges, including one stemming from an outstanding warrant issued by Boonton. 

Darren McLaughlin was reportedly driving a green Kawasaki off-road motorcycle on Hunter's Lane before being pulled over. The 46-year-old has been charged with operating an uninsured and unregistered motorcycle on a public street and was released pending a court appearance.
