Some unlucky football fans left MetLife Stadium on Sunday and found out that their cars had caught fire during the New York Jets game. According to the New Jersey State Police, two separate fires were caused by hot coals from grills and seven cars were damaged.
The two cars that first ignited had reportedly parked near/over hot coals that were dumped from grills. Luckily no one was in the cars and there were no injuries.
This incident serves as a reminder to be cautious of where you park when people are tailgating.
