A Hopatcong resident was sentenced to 12 years in state prison after being arrested for distributing Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD). Kevin Dilks was one of two men who were busted by the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force in an undercover investigation.

The 43-year-old admitted to distributing the drug while he was on Drug Court probation and pled guilty to the first-degree crime in July. He will be ineligible for parole for five years, must pay over $3,000 in fines, and will lose his driver's license for two years.

Dilks has reportedly served time in the past for conspiracy and drug-related charges.
