Two Newton Residents Arrested for Possession of Heroin

An investigation by the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotic Task Force and the Newton Police Department led to the arrest of four people yesterday October 30. Officers stopped a Honda Accord being driven by Michael Black, of Dingman's Ferry, and two of his three passengers, Timothy McClain and Alicia Stabp, were reportedly found in possession heroin and hypodermic needles. 

McClain and Stabp, both Newton residents, were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of hypodermic needles. Black and the third passenger, Joshua Lindfors, were both charged with conspiracy to possess a controlled dangerous substance.
